Venice Beach by Day (Jan 10)
Another week-long meeting = another afternoon of shooting. This time, Venice Beach. It wasn't SFO, but people were laid back and didn't mind a photog hanging out with them for a bit. Coming "inside the fence" to shoot a paddle-tennis game, sitting on the "front wall" during a handball game, and getting up close to skaters was all good with people. I didn't get run over by a skateboarder, but I did get hit with a handball during the game.
Sometimes you have to take some risks to get the shot most people don't get...
