An afternoon in Munich (Sep 13)

During a 2 night trip to Munich, I had a few hours to go for a walk. On my way to the park, I bumped into a political rally. The candidate was running on an anti-Islam platform and was spewing his nonsense over the loudspeaker. Why many watch watched him rant, a group of "punks" was actively counter-protesting and mocking him throughout his entire time. It was interest to me that the ones who were doing the right thing and challenging him were the ones that most people would look at a look down upon. Hats off to them. However, they drank the whole time and towards the end, they were not as helpful to their own cause. Either way, the crowd never really got big or out of hand.

I was more surprised that you'd see something like this so open in the center of Munich. That whole "hate you neighbor" approach didn't work out well last time.

Anyway, I took a walk to the park and snapped a few others along the way. Enjoy. Next time I'm in Germany , it'll be Berlin.
