Bulls-Bobcats (Nov 09)
First game of the season for me, and I was courtside with my bro-in-law. Here are a few shots from a 93-90 Bulls victory. Derrick Rose seems to throw passes to the crowd the whole game. He ended with 7 turnovers and only 4 assists. Not good. Salmons got off early and ended with a game-high 27.
There were two female firsts in the game too. The first female NBA ref was on the officiating crew. Also, the first woman to coach a pro men's team was working as a sideline report for the Bobcats. Very cool... except their success didn't exactly open the floodgates.
