Bull-Hornets (Dec 09)
December 26, 2009 I took the fam to a Bulls game to see the lowly Hornets. A few things stood out: Okafor was always in the mix on D - either blocking or going hard for the ball. Stojakovic is a tree on D - he almost never moved, like he had roots. Chris Paul didn't show up - I was excited to see him play, but he didn't do squat and finished with 15pt and 7asst.
The Hornets made Tyrus Thomas looks like he was an all-star - 21 pts and all kinds of dunks and hard drives.
In the end, the Bulls broke it open in the 3rd and never looks back. The did manage to turn the ball over and miss enough layups in the 4th to prevent everyone from winning a free Big Mac. Final score: Bulls 96 Hornets 85
