Beecharmers @ Soil Born Farms (Jul 19)
Looking for something to do on a blazing hot Saturday in Sacramento, I checked for AirBNB experiences that could be cool. That's when I cam across the Beecharmers. Since it was going to be 105 degrees that afternoon, Rachel (the host) suggested I do her other tour at Soil Born Farms that morning. It was only a mild 95 degrees by the time we started 8-)
Soil Born is doing a lot of great work, and they had a mini-festival or sorts happening when I was there. Check them out @Soil_Born_Farms on IG.
The Beecharmers, led by Rachel, gave a great tour. She knows more about bees than anyone probably should. She also had the patiences to explain everything. After a walk about the property, we did that "TV thing" and suited up to go check out 3 hives. Although we nearly passed out from heat exhaustion, cold waters and a honey-tasting were on point for the finale. Check out @The_Beecharmers and book a tour with them on AirBNB if you are in the area! Enjoy the photos
