Stanging Guard - Gapapagos Penguins (Bartolome, 2009)
This guy was a shining example of Natural Selction. He flaied around looking to catch a fish so long, I'm guessing he may be gone by now. It was quite a spectacle of ineptitude...
I went all the way to the Galapagos and saw a Heron catching fish? I see that everytime I got to the Everglades! (see identical photos in those galleries 8-) )
These bigger male sea lions really were not that nice. He won this staredown... EASILY...
Peguins near the equator?
The tracks in the muds are from volcanic rocks that slide down when the hills were still "warm"
In the Galapagos, even the "grasshopper-looking" bugs are colorful (anyone know what this is?)
Lava Lizard on Bartolome
The oddest this about snorkeling on Barttolome was that the Brown Pelican's kept dive-bombing for food right next to you. This happened to me, within 6 feet of where I was swiming... Not cool.
