After a bunch of trips to SFO, I finally brought my camera with me. I shot just about every night between 10pm-1am (and one afternoon). I spent the whole time in Hallidie Plaza and the Powell St. subway station. I got to know a lot of the guys that I shot, and even got a few people to "pose" for me. I listed some info about them in the captions. All of them, without exception, were really nice people to meet. I also added a few photos of the "Bushman" at the end of the gallery.

Sieid - He was on his way home to see his mother, who was over 90 years old. He had just been released today, after spending 5 years and 4 months in San Quentin. Like a lot of the guys I met, he was really friendly and had the gift of gab. Standing in front of a mural in Hallidie Plaza at the Powell Street Station (Mural by the Meridian Gallery).

Bro. Owen, from Belize City, was preaching a twisted form of the gospel that I indulged for 10-15 minutes near Hallidie Plaza. I can't quote scripture like he could, but I could certainly point out his mis-interpretation of the ones he was quoting. This is him continuing to shout at me as I walked away.
